When I saw Wayfarers in the movie The Blues Brothers, I honestly thought these sunglasses came from this movie. Elwood and Jake looked very cool on those Ray-Ban sunglasses, so naturally people followed their lead. But it was surprising to know that it actually started in the 50’s but because such a big hit in the 60’s fashion epoch. This actually makes a lot of sense because the original design of Wayfarers was so similar to the cat eyes shaped sunglasses that were so huge in the 60’s. These Ray-Ban sunglasses, seeing its unique style, come bouncing back and forth into the fashion world.
